They have very odd working hours. Let's say you get a ticket for going the speed limit but the police office is derelict in his oath and just rounds up your speed from 4 miles per hour over to 15 and then wants to feel like a nice guy and puts it at 10 miler per hour over. You tell yourself hey people need to know that this guy is a liar. So you call to get a time to go to court thinking it won't help you but at least the next guy maybe they will start believing the cop is falsifying information on the tickets. So you call and it rings. You call the next day and it rings. You call in the morning and it rings. Finally after several tries someone answers. They proceed to tell you that court it only at 7:30 pm and you can't get a time slot until after the due date on your ticket.
the police man in this area is out to get you. Always watch behind yourself he loves to ride you, it is what he does best.
You would think that with all of the money the police officers make the town by writing falsified tickets they could afford a full time clerk or a judge that works reasonable hours. Nope. They cannot even afford to get an answering machine.
