Great little hidden gem in Sardine Canyon. Wonderful facilities and a great spot to camp.
Great place to have a camping getaway near Mantua reservoir. Several camping locations to choose from including group campsites. Watch for posted fire restrictions during dry, hot summer days.
The camp host was very nice and pleasant to talk to! She welcomed us to the group site and gave us good ideas about how to fit all our cars in the parking lot!
@Anna Harrington you know that is not true. Who's grandkids are up at midnight running around? Not mine.
The only reason why I give this a three star is because we got wrong directions. It was late at night and even though we had the last site on the campground it was pretty nice. There are flush toilets, but the restroom is quite dirty (especially the sink). The sound of the creek is wonderful to hear at night. The path from the tent to the creek needed some up keeping.
